Hey guys,

I bought the new Mac Mini (build 11B2118, Lion OS) a few weeks ago and I can't pair my Magic Mouse (bought in 2010) with it.

It works well with it (scrolling, gestures, everything Lion supports natively), but without pairing I can't use it with MagicPrefs, for example. MagicPrefs says it has no magic mouse ("Make sure it is connected AND paired with this machine"). In Mouse Preferences, I click in Set Up Bluetooth Mouse (after connected) and it does not appear in Available devices, so I can't click on Pair.

I have a macbook pro and I have already unpaired my magic mouse with it. I've searched through forums and still haven't found a solution. Changed batteries, unpaired with other mac, reconnected, updated name and services in Bluetooth Preferences. Still, can't pair with mini.

Anyone knows how could I pair my magic mouse with my Mac Mini 2011?

Thanks in advance
Vinhal

did you set up your magic mouse with your mini as soon as you got it? because with my mini, it askd to hook up with it as soon as i turned it on out of the box. if not then tryshutting your bluetooth on your mac off or try shutting the mouse off for a minute. other than that you could see if their is a software update through apple to combatyour problem. if worse comes to worse you can phone apple (1-800-my-apple) and hopefully you can solve it out with that. and if that doesnt work you might just have to buy yourself a new magic mouse.
