Hi Guys,

I have a late 2015 27" 5K iMac and I tried to reconnect the mouse and still does this. Today, its been every 10 mins. I've never experience this. It has 62% battery left as well. I notice if I tap it fast, it reconnects fast. It's the strangest dam thing.

Thanks,
Tommy

Do you use a Bluetooth or wired keyboard? If Bluetooth, does this disconnect also?

What batteries? I had endless problems with rechargeable batteries. Problems went away when I put in regular batteries.

I’ve been using regular batteries. This is so strange. I just don’t know what to do other than trying a different mouse. I have a spare magic mouse.

Thanks,
Tommy

Have you tried deleting the Bluetooth entry and then doing a manual re-pairing? (You'll need another mouse to do this. Wired is fine.)

Or just pair my other Magic Mouse and it will over ride this current one?

I’ve known the spring/clips that hold the batteries to lose their mojo after time, so the battery loses connection from time to time.

With care, you may be able to bend them out a bit to hold the batteries tighter (don’t have one to hand to look at)

If I take them out, they seem pretty tight. I can try to bend them a little to see if it helps as well.
