iPad Pro Magic Trackpad 2 Stops Working Then Works Again

Every once in a while, the pointer will get sluggish and stop responding. Sometimes, if I keep swiping, it goes back to normal. Other times I must reconnect it. Does anyone else have this issue?

I haven’t tried my trackpad with iOS but it does an identical behavior with macOS Catalina. Turning the trackpad off then back on seems to fix the connection issue, so does connecting it wired (USB to Lightning) briefly.

Is the track pad low on battery?

For me, it happens even when the trackpad is >50% charge.

No, it‘s charged well when it happens. If I plug it in, it still happens, but returns to normal faster. Turning it off and off seems to fix it. It’s strange that it’s needed.

Ah, so it might be a problem with the trackpad’s Bluetooth. ?

Had to choose Magic Mouse because Magic Trackpad isn’t an option, nor is iPad OS a drop down option.
