Hey,

I am thinking that mous'n around on my desktop is getting a bit tired. I was wondering how you all felt about the magic trackpad for a desktop dual screen setup.

Is it as good as on the laptop? is a middle click possible? Do I need something like better touch tool for that?

What can you do on a mouse you can't do with a trackpad???

Is the trackpad 2... perfect?

Thanks,
r.

I'm using a trackpad on my MacPro (not the trackpad2) and works flawlessly. Considering that its Mac, a trackpad 2 should also work. If you want to extend the possibilities of your trackpad 2 have a look at http://plentycom.jp/en/steermouse/?utm_source=smoothmouse.com&utm_medium=recommendation this. I'm using it now for 4 years and haven't looked back

I've been using a trackpad2 for several years ( i guess since they were originally released ). I like it. At work, I typically have a MBP15 sitting to the right of an iMac27. Having a trackpad on the iMac, makes the user interface transition much easier when bouncing between machines.
