Hello everyone,
As I usually do, I left my iPhone 13 charging overnight on the MagSafe charger. This morning when i picked it up I noticed this strange detail. If you look at the picture, you can see it appears to have stopped charging briefly at around 2am. I’m not referring to the optimised charging feature, but rather at what appears to be a brief charging interruption, as pictured by the 2 segments with a bolt in the middle.
Since I was asleep, I didn’t hear anything nor I know if the phone/charger were particularly hot. I also don’t think it was a power outage as I didn’t notice any strange behaviour by other devices (such as microwave clocks resetting and what not). Also this doesn’t happen every time, but it’s also not the first time it happened. Has anyone experienced something similar to this?
Right now, I have my old iPad plugged in on the same USBC port of my Anker power station to try and see if there’s any issue with the power station itself (will leave it there for a day or 2).Unfortunately I don’t have another MagSafe compatible phone to test the charger out. If it matters, the phone was using a Spigen MagSafe case.
PS: also forgot to mention that the MagSafe charger is “stuck” to the bedside table using a Sigen MagFit.
Thank you very much in advance
