Has anyone out there with their iPhone 14 Pro Max in hand tried it out with any particular MagSafe car chargers?

I’ve been looking into MagSafe car chargers for a while — vent mount, dash, windshield — and I am aware of some shortcomings:
  • None of them seem certified and capable of 15W fast charging (except the sort that are essentially just a frame for Apple’s OEM MagSafe charger).
  • Some of them don’t deal well with the increased weight of a Pro Max phone, either in terms of magnet strength, ball joint friction, or other factors.
  • Magnetic attachment strength is reduced by some cases.
  • Many vent mounts simply push onto the vent, with no hook or latch around the back, so that lifting the phone directly away from the vent mount can pull the mount off along with the phone.
And, most immediately relevant,
  • Some past models have fit one generation of phones but are incompatible with newer models which have a larger camera bump.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max definitely has a larger camera bump, and I’d love to know which car chargers it does and doesn’t work with. I know I’m going to have to compromise on some of the items above, but I’d at least like to find something that will physically fit.

The only one I have found to work well IS Apple's own Magsafe charger in this ProClip mount:

It has adjustable feet too to support the Max.

I bought this ESR one, and it works fine. Generally any charger that has the MagSafe circle raised will be just fine.

It’s not the best mount in the world, but it does work and was charging the phone whilst using Waze and BT Audio.

I’ve been using a Spigen MagSafe car charger. Haven’t tried it with the 14 PM yet. I’ll be heading to work in a few hours and I’ll know how it is.

Edit:

Had a chance to use the 14 PM with my Spigen MagSafe car charger. Works great. Seems like the magnetic hold is more firm than my 12 PM. Feels much more secure.

My car has a Qi charger built in and it works well with the iphone 12 mini.
It would work equally as well with the bigger 14, as others have already charged their humongous android phones with it.

The biggest issue is the inefficiency, which leads to the iphone being prone overheating while charging, as it also has to provide internet for the car and play back my music/audiobooks.

Hence, I always connect the cable.

I'm using this but I did swap the head out for a different one so I could use a shorter cable.

Sorry, I don't know. You can use a black skin though like this:

dbrand is pretty good.
I was more looking for a black cable than the charger being white. The charger will be hid by the phone.
