Hi everyone,

Has the time come to say bb to my Magsafe 2?

After I connect it after 1-10-hr breaks, the indicator won’t show any lights for 10-70 seconds.

After I connected my rMBP to another Magsafe at a shop, the shop’s indicator switched on immediately. So did my old adaptor when I connected it after thу visit to the shop. But my old adaptor showed the light immediately only a couple of times after that shop trip.

The cord is 5-years old. The white coating got frayed at the indicator’s end. Besides, the cord has become slightly twisted at several spots.

Inspect the magsafe contacts for sign of corrosion or debris. You can clean it out using pure isopropyl alcohol and/or contact cleaner.
What shall I call you? Cause I want to ask you something else and I'd like to be polite as much as possible.
