I had the MagSafe plugged in to my MBP and when attempting to pull it out I almost had to use full force on order to pull it out.

My MBP is fully charged now but I’m afraid to leave it plugged in the entire time as it may damage the battery or degrade the life of the battery.

Is there any way to have it easier to pull it out without too much force?

The trick to magsafe is to yank it up or down instead of directly out. It's designed this way to come out when someone trips on a cord but also sturdy enough to not come loose when you shift your laptop around on a desk. It's completely safe to also leave it plugged in. The MacBook is intelligent enough to know when to charge in a way that won't damage the battery.

like the others said, just pull it up or down. Had the same struggle when I first bought mine so you're not alone lol

There were a few iterations of Mag Safe, I assume you're using the latest MBP?

For a decade I was using the original MS T-type connector. Then when my DC-in board was replaced I also received a new charger with an L-shaped end and found it detaches less with lateral force applied. Must say, I preferred the original as it was a nice balance between staying connected and detaching when the MBP was suddenly offset.

So it would appear that MS2 became wider, MS3 wider still. I can imagine that it would take more force still to detach if the cable is pulled on the same axis.

Are you that insecure with so many threads open in less than a week?

If you're insecure about your machine, please book an appointment at an Apple Store and expose all your doubts there. While these forums are a good source of information and help, I don't think opening a thread with every little bump you come across will do much.

I found that the magnets on my 14" MBP's magsafe to be really strong, more so then on my old 2012 MBP. I'm a little concerned that if the cord is yanked a certain way, it could take the laptop with it. I'm not willing to test this out, but I am surprised at how strong it is.
