I really love the magsafe connection. It's very easy and handy.
The fact that it works with magnetism is nice. Especially when you accidentally trip over the wire. It will release itself from the computer.
But now with the macbook air 11.6" the weight is so low that you will pull the computer with it when you trip over the wire. :)

Or you can super-glue your 11.6" to your desk and use a few large bolts screwed through the computer to hard-tie it to your desk. Make sure to tighten them down nice and secure. That should also help a ton. No way that thing is going to slip off your desk now!! :D

I don't think it would've been as much of an issue if they used the same connector as the MBP and perhaps a slightly weaker magnet.

Hahaha yeah... nice solution! :D

I once worked in a computer store and there was a customer complaining about a non functioning computer. When they did research on the computer, they concluded that the customer drove a few screws through the computer to fasten it on the desk. The screws went straight through the mainboard hahaha.

Wow! Are you serious? Either said customer was really stupid for thinking they could get away with a customer service fix or they tried to put one over on them. But it is surely obvious they were stupid for putting the screws through it. Wow!

Well, I played with the magsafe and an 11.6" MBA today. I don't see how it would be able to move the MBA so as to make it fall from the table.
