I created 3 accounts on my iPad, one aol account for me, one aol account for my wife, and one gmail account for me. How do I get to read the email from these 3 addresses? I receive mine okay, but not to the two other email addresses. In my inbox all I see is my aol account. Is there a way to receive email to my wife's aol and my gmail in the inbox? When I write an email to my gmail I don't see a way to read it, although it shows up in the mail icon indicating that I have an email. Still trying to learn the ins and outs of this iPad.
Thanks for a reply

I know this is going to come as a wee bit of a shock, but Apple hasn't discovered the unified inbox. You will have to back out of your account and go into the other inboxes to see those messages. OS 4.0 is supposed to bring us up to the same level of email usages bb users have enjoyed for years now. It can't happen too soon for me. Sadly, Apple says it won't happen until "this fall". For now, I have all my accounts forward to my mobile me email and everything shows up in one place. Once again Apple pulls a doofus and will only allow me to reply to an email as the login credentials of the account I am checking so I wind up giving out my mobile me email to people who might have been sending to one of my work accounts I simply have forwarded to mobileme. Bummer. That's the chief reason I use a Blackberry phone right now, along with the lack of an iPhone from Verizon.

um ...you know that when you hit the reply button, you can tap the cc/bcc field, and then change the account it replies from. hope that helps those accidental emails :p

r0k,well how do I back out of my account and go into the other inboxes? I don't see or know where to find the other inboxes to view and write for those other two accounts. Thanks for the reply...

Upper left of screen has an arrow that may say inbox or gmail or aol etc. Click it until you get a list of accounts to choose from.

It should say accounts when you are almost to the last page.

Ahhhhhhh so, thanks to MiguelS and renewed I found what I was looking for and how to get into those other accounts. I see the light and for awhile it was driving me nuts how to do it. Thanks again. 
