Hey all, quick question here. I currently have a comcast e-mail account. I hate the interface. I LOVE the mac mail interface. Is it possible to use the mac interface with my comcast account? Do I need to get a .mac account to use mail? Thanks.

If you can use POP3 with comcast you can use Apple Mail.

Thank you sir! I had no idea what I was doing (didn't even know what a POP3 was). Everything is running smoothly. Thanks. I can't seem to figure out how to put certain messages into a folder I create though. For example, if I get an important e-mail that I want to save, how can I do that? thanks

Click on the '+' in the lower left corner to make a new folder which is called a mailbox. Then you can drag the mail you want to save there.

Once you have the folder, you can then make a Rule. Click on Mail in the Top left, Preferences from the list. All the way to the right is Rules. Make a rule that says that all mail from certain person goes to that folder you made, or a copy goes in there.
