Mail acting funny?

I've been having this strange problem with my Yahoo! mail today on the iPhone. I'll compose an email, hit the Send button, the "Sending... " bar will appear with one tick of progress on it for about 2 or 3 seconds, then the screen goes black (except for the top toolbar) and it kicks me back to the main home screen! And when I go back into the Mail app, the message is still in my Drafts folder like it's unsent but the message actually goes through.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I noticed this today too. I would hit send and it would kick me back to main screen. When I returned to mail app my email was still up for editing like it was never sent but when I check my sent folder it was already sent. Before I realized this I ending up sending duplicate emails to some.

Seems like a iPhone issue but its weird how this happened to both of us today. Maybe its a yahoo issue?

yes, that is the exact behavior I saw. it stopped happening shortly after so I'm thinking it was a temporary yahoo! problem. good thing. I've been seeing some other strange behavior too... that firmware upgrade can't come soon enough.
