Mail acts a bit weird

Ok I have received a couple of e-mails from my friend, who is in my address book, in my screen, some of his emails are from: his "FirstName LastName" and some are displayed from "his e-mail" why can't all of the e-mails show up like I want them on the address book?

no, just one, and I discovered something else, I sent an e-mail to someone, quit mail, came back later, opened Mail, and it was in my Drafts folder, ok maybe I didn't send it, I click send, it gets sent, after quitting mail, and coming back to it, it's back in the Drafts folder and gets sent again, the receiver asks me why I sent the same thing 3 times, this is on my Intel iMac, never happens on my PowerBook for the last 2 years, could this be mail for intel? aren't they same intel or PowerPC since mail is universal?
