Mail and iPhone syncing???

Curious if anyone read anywhere or know anything about this cause I haven't seen it. If you use the iPhone to get emails from the same accounts you have in Apple Mail. Will you be able to transfer those mail that you got on your iphone (let say you were on the road or somewhere) back onto your mac for safe keeping?

The impression I got from the video was that it would sync the settings over, but nothing else.
