Every day or at least every other day I get a pop up on screen essentially wanting outlook.com account credentials. I think this started on iOS 14.1 perhaps. iOS 14.2.1 hasn't fixed it for sure!

I was getting that frequently a couple of weeks back, but this past week I’ve only had it the once. I think it’s on Microsoft’s side rather than with Apple’s Mail app. Over the years the issue’s popped up from time to time and eventually goes away without an OS update.

I also have the problem with Safari not allowing direct access to Outlook.com because the website uses TLS1 or TLS1.1. The warning says that Outlook.com is not secure. So it appears the problem is at Microsoft as they have not updated Outlook.com with the proper credentials. Can someone confirm this? Is there a work around?

A variation on this theme: the 'New' Outlook application for Mac cannot access @icloud.com accounts. The older version can. Last year, the Outlook for Mac couldn't access @gmail.com - they fixed that, then lost @icloud.com when they 'improved' the app.

Hmmm. I don't use Safari as my default (Firefox here), but I just went into my Safari and opened outlook.com (outlook.live.com) with no issue at all.
