Since installing 18.2 yesterday, I noticed there is no longer the option to offload and reinstall the Mail app.

My Mail app was approaching 1 GB of space - while having probably no more than 10 emails. In order to free-up the cache I deleted the entire account (as I have done many times). When I put everything back together, the entire 1 GB remained.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can reduce the size of the Mail app? In the past, a simple deletion and reinstall did the trick.

Micromanaging the storage is a losing game. If iOS needs the space, it'll claim it back. Just let it be.
