Hi, running IOS13.2 on IPhone X and using mail to sync a hotmail account. if I go into junk mail and select all and delete it wipes out my last month of inbox emails, and the junk mails stay in the folder.
This flaw is potentially fatal in losing important info and needs addressing immediately.

When it first happened yesterday I thought it was my error, but it’s done it again tonight.

I have the same issue and only with my hotmail account. Other accounts (iCloud and work exchange) junk folders delete properly. I haven't found any workaround except to stop deleting junk mail from my iPhone and doing it from the computer instead.

Mine does this only if I try and delete all messages at once. If I delete them manually one by one it's fine. Super annoying.

Same issue here. AppleCare was not helpful at all. They blamed the email host provider (AOL in this case). It's definitely an iOS mail issue, ugh. Any way to get my emails back?!

Sounds like a protocol issue on Apple's end if there are two different major services experiencing it.

In the case of Hotmail, were the accounts set up via Settings>Passwords & Accounts>Add Account>Outlook.com?
