Mail.app - flagged email unflags itself.

Has anyone ever got a problem where a flagged email keeps unflagging after a day by itself? This specific email is flagged in outlook.com but keeps disappearing from my flagged emails on Mail app. Quite annoying.

I'm using Apple Mail on both iPhone, iPad and Mac with my Outlook account and haven't had any issues with flag syncing. I wish colors also synced across devices but alas they don't.

Do you have outlook setup on your devices using modern Auth or manually as Exchange?

I used to use spark on both mac and iphone but it has folder syncing issues so i went back to apple mail. I use outlook on windows yes and that email is also flagged on windows. But out of 6 flagged emails this one is the only one that keeps unflagging.

That's strange. Must be something with that one particular email. Try removing the flag, move that email into a folder, sync that on all devices, then move it back into the inbox and set the flag again.
