maybe i'm missing something simple? have a folder (for example) of business mail, mostly things i've sent out; they email is listed by my address. can i change the way that folder displays messages, so that they're listed by the receiver address, not mine?

thx

I don't think so. It seems only the "Sent" folder shows the recipient in the message list. This is one reason I don't move sent mail out of the Sent folder.

hmm. important for me to group projex by folder (i know, i could use smart folders). anyway, if there's no way, there's... no way. thanks for the info!

You can alway switch to "Classic" view in Mail when you need to see the senders in a folder's mail list. A button in the toolbar for that would be nice. In Sierra, switching back to list view is stupid, though...Mail doesn't remember the width of your list column.

just surprised i can't do this; seems it would make sense to be able to show the recipient in folders of sent mail... i KNOW i sent it...

Storage folders designated to behave like the Sent folder sounds like a good idea to me.

right? so, let's say you have a project, and 80% of the email in that project's folder is sent mail (for me, it's about 95%)... yet all i see is my email address. anyway, if anyone figures out a way to do this... am ready for it/
