Mail app freezes every time I come out of sleep mode?

Any know how to fix this issue? When ever I have the mail app open and close/sleep my computer for a long time (7-8 hours cause im going to sleep) it crashes mail when I open the computer back up from sleep. None of the mail accounts connect to internet (I get a triangle icon next to the accounts in the mail app) and the computer starts using a ton of battery and gets a little warm.

I am using the M1 PRO 14 inch MacBook pro.
