Since updating to iOS 14 the Mail app keeps showing a 1 in a red circle on the app icon when I go into it it shows an email in my iCloud email, but when I refresh it goes away.

As soon as I leave the app the 1 appears again... I have tried rebooting my phone, checked my email at iCloud.com, have deleted the mail app and reinstalled and it still keeps re-appearing... not sure whether this is a known bug or what anyone else having this issue?

thanks

It’s been happening since iOS 14 beta 5. I have been keeping an old read email in the inbox. Otherwise it keeps going from 1 to 0 in a loop.

It’s really bugging me lol, had those 1’s on my apps ha! Might have to turn off that notification in the settings, had this issue many years ago when it updated, just wondered if it was a bug again or whether it was something my end.
