Is this happening to anyone else?

The Apple E-mail apps on my iPad and my iMac both are saying they can't connect to iCloud, and are asking me for my password (which I enter). Then it all just repeats, prompting for the password again.

I logged into my iCloud account via Safari and was able to connect on the first try, although getting into Mail was a bit slow.

I can't find any dashboard in iCloud to tell me what functions are currently "up" or "down," so does anyone know of a Mail outage affecting only the Mail app?

OK, that was annoying. On my iMac, I wound up having to re-enter my password in the iCloud settings pane of System Preferences. Then everything worked. Same with the iPad.

I've never had to do this before.

Same here. I also had to re-enter it on my iPhone, and I'm sure my iPad is patiently waiting to ask me for my password when I next use it.

I'm guessing Apple expired some sort of authentication token, requiring us all to reenter our passwords? Weird!

I've been getting asked for my password all day too- on an iphone and on osx. When I re-enter the password, sometimes it accepts it, sometimes it doesn't. If it does accept it, it asks again a few hours later.

I also received an email implying that I've changed some data associated with my Apple ID, but I haven't changed anything.

Just to be on the safe side, I've tried to change my password but that's not working properly either!

Something must have gone wrong on the Apple side of things last night / this morning...
