Today, I noticed that when in Apple Mail, all my emails from my icloud account are not showing the content of the emails. My other email account which is a MS Exchange Server account works fine. I've tried rebuilding the mailbox, tried deleting some of the cache files and relaunching Apple Mail but the same problem persists. Heck I even tried removing my icloud account from this iMac and added it back, same thing.

Anyone have any other ideas/suggestions?

I began experiencing the same issue yesterday on my MacBook Air. I assume it has something to do with the new iOS update (macOS Monterey 12.0.1), but I don't know. I can access the mail without issue on my iPhone and iPad.

Exactly the same thing here. It must be related to v12.0.1 because I've literally tried every fix I can think of it. It's weird that it's only doing it to my icloud email account, my work account which is MS Exchange Server is fine. So something has gone haywire since the last update.

Same issue here, Monterey 12.0.1, new MacBook Pro
Hopefully this is the kind of issue that would make Apple want to release a patch as soon as possible - can't imagine there are too many people pleased with not being able to see the contents of their emails.

I had that problem also, but solved it. My 2020 Mac Mini running Monterey would display incoming iCloud email titles in the Apple Mail app, but not the bodies. Other email providers were not affected (e.g., att.com viewed on Apple Mail). But my 2018 MacBook Pro running Big Sur displayed the emails normally. I found that my antivirus app, Avast Premium Security was running "Email Shield" as one of its Core Shields. When I turned Email Shield off and rebooted, my emails returned to normal function. Turned it on and rebooted, and emails disappared. Turned it off again and rebooted and they returned. I've sent an email to Avast to alert them to this bug. If you don't run Avast, you might look at whatever antivirus app you're running and see if it has some sort of email filter.

That was indeed the problem. Thanks

I had to reboot which I did after quitting mail. Had tried to no avail rebuild and quitting mail (without reboot).
