Guys, I need help with this one.

Just tried loading my e-mails on my iPhone 4 running the latest version of iOS and it said that the username and password were incorrect. I went to my Gmail account and created a new password. Now I can log in fine. Things work okay.

However I've tried editing my account on my Mail App and for some crazy reason, even with my new password, the Mail App won't connect to my Gmail account...

Has anyone experienced similar problems?
I can log on my Gmail account, but not with my mail app... this sucks! :(

1) Download the Gmail App. It's really much more robust and capable than the native Mail app. Also the Mail app often incorrectly retrieves search results from the server. Make sure push notifications are enabled.

2) Remove your Gmail account from Calendars, Contacts, etc. in settings.
Then set it up using Microsoft Exchange and turn on syncing of everything you like except mail.
