Mail App Really Annoying Lately

Lately when trying to send an email, it goes to the Outbox, even with a good network connection.

Also, trying to send an email with attachments (e.g. Photos), the photos get sent as plain text (image1.jpeg, image2.jpeg, etc…). This I’ve been experiencing for months, even before iOS 17 but still persists.

Ami missing a setting or something?

I don’t know about the plain text part, but yes all of my emails go to outbox and sit there for up to a minute before being sent. But I have noticed this for the last few months.

That’s because you can undo sending mail so mail has to sit waiting for that somewhere.

Ahh interesting. Didn’t think of that but this last email I was trying to send sat in the outbox for over an hour. My undo is set to 30 seconds.
