Last week my mail app stopped delivering notifications. I have run through all the various "fixes" on this page all the way to uninstalling and reinstalling the mail app.

At this point I am thinking to just uninstall the mail app and use a 3rd party app.
Anything else I can do before going 3rd party?
Are there any app recommendations if I go that route?

For me it worked when I removed the work account and set it up again.

No, I just realized I was not running iOS15 yet, so I updated. afterwards, still no notifications.

Checked in the mail notification settings and found a new (to me at least) setting under the mail section of notifications "Customize Notifications" where it can be set on a per account basis. It was all turned off. Now they are on per each account and it is working again.

Is that a new feature in iOS15? Could have been there for years, but I never noticed it before today.

Huh. I recall setting these up on an account-by-account basis. When I double checked just now I found my primary account - iCloud - was turned off. That solves one mystery. I have others, but this is a good start.
