My iphone is set up with Gmail. Mail.app is also set up with Gmail.

When I send an email from iphone, the "sent items" folder in Mail.app does not show the email (Gmail has it). Is there a way to do so?

When I send an email from Mail.app, the "sent items" folder in iphone shows the email (Gmail has it).

It seems to me an issue with Mail.app or Gmail?

Also, I tried to bcc myself on the iphone. Mail.app inbox or iphone inbox do not show the email.

Any way to fix? Thanks.

Thanks!

I turned on IMAP in Gmail. Also followed Gmail's instructions to set up the iphone. Will go home later to set up Mail.app according to Gmail. Should that be it?

Thanks, this works. One more question: how do you set up Mail.app? Follow Gmail's instructions or use the Apple auto set up?

You need to set up Gmail with IMAP and then it will sync correctly.
