Mail.app sync?

I searched and did not turn up much, so here is my question. Supposedly according to iTunes you can sync certain Mail.app accounts. I have tried this and it seems to do absolutely zilch. Does it actually sync anything? Am I missing something?

I am wondering this as well. The first sync put the accounts and emails on my iPhone, great. But it wont sync anything new, in terms of which messages are new or not...

Per the iPhone User's Guide, syncing an email account to iPhone copies the email account setup, not the messages themselves.
