Is it showing up in the sidebar for anyone?

I'm only able to access it through the Favorites section, but not the regular section with the rest of the folders (Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Junk, Trash, etc.)

It's only under Favorites. I wanted to remove everything from Favorites and just use the main mailbox folder section so that I could see all mailboxes, but nope, can't do that in Big Sur if you want to see Flagged.

Another thing that's annoying: The giant "Move to..." button in the toolbar, which looks like a search field but it isn't. On smaller screens, it hides the actual search field, but even on larger screens it takes up too much space. Yes, I know that I can move the search bar around, but if I want to keep a "Move" button there appears to be no smaller option.

What would happen if you use the pop-up command "Remove From Favorites"?

Would it dissapear completely or appear among the "On My Mac" folders?

It would disappear completely.

Are you sure, have you tried?

I only have 2 flagged messages and don't really use the Flag option, but out of interest I just opened those 2 messages and found that the flags dissapeared and a different colour than the ones I'd used appeared in the folder when I closed them.

It does seem that there is some weird behaviour going on 🤔

Disappearing flags or different flag colors is not the issue.

The issue is that the Flagged folder can only be accessed through the Favorites section and not anywhere else.

You can create a Smart Mailbox for flagged items, which doesn't appear under Favorites.
