Mail App

Hi guys,
I was not a user of The Mail app in Mavericks I used Outlook, but the new features of mail (MailDrop FTW!!) made me change to it. Because of this I'm not sure if the problems I'm having are due to the fact that it is a beta or if it is really supposed to be this away.
Let me explain:
When I open an email, I can't do two things: Open other email with this one still open or open a new mail in a window and still be possible to browse other mails too.

Is this the standard mode in the app or is it this way because of the beta?? It's driving me nuts!

Just double click the email you want to open, then Double click the other email, then line the windows up on your screen, in the manner that you choose. It really has not changed much from previous versions....

Ok, I've notice that this just happens when I'm in fullscreen mode. But it shouldn't work like this because it makes fullscreen mode barely usable..
