Hi All,

I have an iPhone XS Max. I have been using the IOS Mail App, but, it isn't good enough for me. basically, i cant change from 15 minutes to fetch emails.

My emails are time sensitive.

Anyways, as its a gmail account, I downloaded the Gmail App, Success!! Immediate notification... BUT... my only option for sound is ON or OFF, and the Gmail sound for notification is incredibly subdued and DULL, I will miss the emails!

So I decided to download another app, but there are SO MANY. considering the set up on each app, it will be a nightmare!

Please can anyone recommend a Mail app where the Notification sound can be customised and the fetch is immediate!

Really appreciate any help!
Eric

Try Outlook for iOS. It's now our corporate email app and I've customized the notification sound so that my work phone doesn't sound like everyone else's work phone.

I was thinking of using Spark for emails ... seems to get high reviews as well

I’ve been using Spark for a while now and it works great. Have it running on my home and iPad. I used the gmail app for years, but prefer the look and feel of Spark to it.

Just went back to Outlook for iOS. Been back and forth often between the iOS mail app and Outlook. Recently switched back due to the do not disturb feature for for work email. It’s nice to be able to stop the notifications on a custom schedule.
