Can anyone help me with this:

I am using 10.10, and whenever I delete mail in the "Archive" folder, it shows back up again next time I log on. I use an IMAP account with two gmail addresses. Most of these archived emails are not even in any folder if I actually go to my gmail account on Safari. So what is making them reappear?

Thanks

check your mail "Preferences->Accounts->Mailbox behaviors" settings, specifically the ones for "Trash"
It sounds like your messages are not being deleted from Google servers, hence they reappear when you next log in.
