Mail being annoying

I'm using Mail on my MacBook Pro. It seems like every evening (so after a day of using my MacBook) it gets tired and just stops connecting to the servers. Or I get an account error (see picture).

It's not iCloud. I still get my mail on my iOS devices and via the website.

Any ideas?

Try going to Mail > Preferences (not Mail > Accounts) then go to the Accounts tab. Click on iCloud and under Account Information uncheck "enable this account".

Thanks for the suggestion. Tried that earlier. Didn't help

It seems to be a sporadic thing. At the moment it's behaving itself.
