Ever since I upgraded to 14.2, the contact names in mail don't show up. Let's say I have an email address saved under the contact "Don," in the main mail screen the name that's displayed above the subject is "Sender Name" for instance. The odd thing is, when I actually open the email itself, "Don" shows up as it always used to. Is this a bug or did they just change that in 14.2?

I'm not seeing this happen on my iPhone xR or iPad Pro, both on 14.2. In the Sent mailbox, the recipient's name appears as expected above the subject. In the Inbox, the sender's name appears appropriately above the subject. Is this happening for an iCloud account or a third-party email account?

Weird, so it must just be me then. An iCloud account. I even signed out and signed back in and it's the same thing. Oddly enough, when I actually open up the email, the correct contact name shows up on that screen. It's just the main inbox screen where the contact name doesn't show up.

Well, that gives me hope they may fix it! Thanks for joining my terrible club! lol
