Mail Crashing

For some reason, each time I click on a new email in my mail inbox the program crashes. I have been using it since I got the PowerBook and it has been working perfectly, now I have no idea what is happening. Any thoughts on what might be going on?

Try deleting the Mail preferences (PLIST files).
