am confused by this; i have my mail favorites across the top bar of Mail; they now also show on the sidebar. is there a way to remove the favorites list from the sidebar? i don't need (or want) them listed in both places (plus the actual folders on the sidebar are there as well)

seems unncessarily redundant...

All you can do is close (collapse) the list and maybe move the entry for favourites down to the bottom of the sidebar.

Favourites is now the only place where universal mailboxes can go, which is irritating. Plus, the individual mailboxes also stay with each mail account and hence are listed twice in the side bar.

this was perfect in catalina; am not sure why we can't choose (favorites on sidebar and/or the favorites bar). so it goes, am adapting to the sidebar...

ha, am back to using the bar, i prefer it. also (and unrelated), my drafts folder doesn't show (altho i can find draft emails in a search), and some trashed emails have vanished into the ether (they don't wind up in 'trash').

so beta-like, this beta....
