With email fetching set to every 15 minutes for Gmail, it seems that fetching is actually occurring roughly every half hour instead. Has anyone else also had this problem and know how to fix it?

I'm on iOS 9.3.

Thank you.

You mean deleting the account from Settings? I just did that. So I'll see how it behaves now...

Thanks.

Low Power mode isn't on is it? That effects fetch frequency.

I have an even worse version of this: fetch is set to 15 minutes but occasionally it won't fetch anything for a full day. Going to gmail.com instantly updates the iOS mail client, for some reason.

using mail fetch drains my battery faster than push!!!

my fetch is 15 minutes. I do find sometimes the time it tells me it last updated is way back when I haven't gotten any email for a while but email does show up within 15 minutes of being sent do me.

I have 3 accounts, Gmail, Gmail, and Exchange. Fetch, Fetch, Push. I have to manually check them all or it will only randomly download new messages every 4-6 hours. Bah
