Anyone know why all the filter options in Mail are greyed out and how to fix this? I see some posts about this on the Apple Support Community site but no soluton. I'm running Sonoma 14.5.

Under "Turn filters on" it says you must first "Enable Message Filter". I see that menu-item in the menu you show, so I suspect you must first choose that menu item to enable the others.

Reading further on the page, "Turn filters off" says you should choose "Disable Message Filter" to turn them off. So the "Enable" menu-item changes its name to "Disable" when filters are enabled.

I found that page by searching for keywords: mac mail user guide
