Mail in 10.10.3 slow to drag & drop messages to folders

I have an Office 365 Exchange account (roughly 5.5 GB of mail data) on Mail, and since upgrading to OS X 10.10.3, when dragging and dropping a message from the Inbox to any of my folders, it now sits and delays for roughly 2 seconds each time. It never did this before, and it locks up the whole application until the message is moved.

Anyone else seeing this since the update?

Exact same problem here on a iMac (i3) and on a Hackintosh (i5), both with SSD and 16 GB RAM...
Though I don't have any Exchange account.

happens here too (not an exchange email). i notified apple during the public beta (but the problem persists)...

Ugh was hoping it was just me so I could try rebuilding the entire mailbox or deleting the cache. Living in email for ~8 hours a day, its a real pain in the butt right now.
