This is frustrating.

Mail inbox on iPhone is correct. Mail inbox on mail app on Mac is correct. Mail inbox on MobileMe does not reflect current status of emails.

I use both the mail app and iPhone and they are in sync. So obviously changes are sync'g through MobileMe properly. However the MobileMe inbox does not update and therefore does not reflect deleted and filed emails.

This happened early on and I corrected through MobileMe/Sync/Advanced/ Reset Sync Data. I updated MobileMe with data from the Mac. This worked and the MobileMe inbox was correct for a couple of weeks.

I logged onto MobileMe tonight for the first time in about a week. The inbox was a mess. I reset the sync data. The MobileMe inbox did not reset.

Why is this occurring? Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_0_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5C1 Safari/525.20)

The delete from iPhone is a well known bug. Search for more information. Just delete 1 on the web and all are deleted. Best to just use your mail app instead of web client

Thanks Mike!

Deleting one email in MobileMe inbox worked.

I'll do a search also. Didn't find it first time.

It's very annoying and a horrible bug. It should have been fixed by now, but MobileMe is still a mess. Their support department is absolutely atrocious.

Thanks for the info, I thought I was seeing things. It's frustrating but as someone who doesn't expect to use the Web Mail much I can just about live with it for now. I think if I were using iPhone Mail, Mail App and Web Mail a lot it might be enough to make me think twice about converting from the trial though.
