I've just used Migration Assistant to move from a macbook pro to macbook.

Everything seems to have transferred across.

However I do have an issue with Mail.

I do have two email accounts on mail, the key one i need access to is an outlook.office365 account.

I can access it through Safari so I'm not completely lost.

However on mail, all I get is popup for both accounts 'Mail password required' and no access.
I dont remember the passwords to either (Ive tried a few!) , nor can I see them in keychain.

Anyone had this problem?

You might want to check the application Keychain Access in Applications > Utilities as well, particularly the login keychain. If the password is stored on your device, then it's there. Otherwise you may be relying on cookies in which case it is probably impossible to retrieve the password.

When I am in keychain access I can see a list of logins.

However when I try to 'show' a password I get

'Access to this item is restricted (-67701)'
[doublepost=1452436519][/doublepost]Interestingly one of the email accounts is on my iPhone. This is a virgin mail account which i can access through their site and in my phone.
Just Mail which is acting up- guess I'll have to give up on it.
I tried to type these settings into mail on my mac to no avail

Update-
One account now works on Apple Mail- the virginmedia account
However the Office365 does not:

I now can't access it anywhere! This is my work email- nightmare!
On the office365 website it asks for my login- username is there but it needs the password.
The latest is:

Your account is not enabled for password reset
We're sorry, but your administrator has not set up your account for use with this service.

If you'd like, we can contact an administrator in your organization to reset your password for you.

I wasn't aware it was set up by anyone else!!!!!
