Greetings! Just updated my old MBA with a clean install of Catalina, and all went well, except that Mail keeps stifling the system by constantly and endlessly downloading messages from my Gmail and iCloud accounts (I have two). It has been almost 14 hours since and it still keeps doing that, causing a constant heavy load on my i7 with 8 gigs of Ram. Is there a fix? Many thanks in advance.
