I've been having problems since late evening time yesterday. I am able to send emails but not receive them. I can also not log into icloud via a web browser for mail only. I receive an error message about the server being down.
Ohhhhh the humor! I was in an apple store yesterday and a genius was fiddling with my phone and air frustrated they weren't syncing. :roll eyes: I told her i never had a problem til she started fiddling with it.
I'm having problems, too. Can't connect through apps or even by logging on through iCloud.com (where all other features, such as calendar, seem to be working and syncing fine).
I think it is not good service to have the mail servers down for 24 hours without notice. 30 minutes, maybe? But 24 hours is a catastrophic system failure in my opinion. Not just "maintenance".

Users may be unable to access Mail. Service is expected to be restored by 8pm PST today. All messages will be delivered at that time.
All other services are online and fully operational.

I just called Apple support and was told there is an "outage" and that they were working on it. The last report they had was five hours ago! Doesn't sound good.
able to see the headers of new emails but not able to read any emails that were prior to 9:00am today. The Mac mail app will not load any new headers after 9, but the are loaded on the iPad and iPhone mail clients. According to the Mac I have 14 emails, the iPad and iPhone state 31.
When I try to delete any of them nothing happens. When I delete the ones on the mac, they disappear, only to reappear if i restart the mail program.
I'm at work. I can't access my email on the iPhone or through the browser service.
On my phone, it just keeps saying 'connecting' indefinitely. Likewise, in the browser it just keeps trying to load the page but never shows my inbox or any other mobile me services.
