Mail notification menu bar app?

Is there such a thing as an app that will sit in the menu bar and notify me when I get a new email? I'd prefer using webmail and tend not to bother opening Apple Mail as I have such a habit of checking my email via webmail. I have Gmail and a BT Internet email account so it would be nice if there was a menubar app that would notify me of when I have new emails in these accounts and I can click the drop down menu and it'll take me to the relevant site.

I use Badgeify, but I guess you need to use a „real“ mail app with this:

Thanks, this looks perfect. It will be especially handy when I'm hiding my dock too.

That‘s the exact reason why I use Badgeify: I keep my Dock always hidden and can still see if there are any mails / messages in my menu bar.
