Guys, I need some help please. For the last few days I've been unable to receive emails to my iCloud (.mac) email account on my Mac.

I get the following error code:

There may be a problem with the mail server or network. Verify the settings for account “iCloud” or try again.

The server returned the error: Connections to the server “p50-imap.mail.me.com” on the default ports timed out.

I've not amended anything on the Mac, so strange that this is happening.

Emails though come through fine on my iPhone and iPad.

How can I fix this please?

First thing I would do is quit/force quit Mail. Then, holding the shift key down, re-open the app. That resets the mailbox. If that doesn’t work, try rebuilding the mailbox using the instructions here: https://support.apple.com/guide/mail/rebuild-mailboxes-mlhlp1227/mac
