I don't know why this does this but whenever I open up Mail on my iPhone 5S, Mail most of the time opens up with iCloud email inbox first. Even though I rarely open up the individual email inboxes, because I usually keep it at ALL INBOXES.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Unfortunately I don't think you can choose All to open first but in the Mail app under accounts , just move up the one you want to open first .

But if I left my Mail by reading in the "ALL INBOXES" last and then re-opened it...shouldn't it remember where I was at?

I actually don't have this problem. I have an icloud account, gmail, and exchange on the Mail app and I have it on "All Inboxes" all the time. Even after I close the app and re-open it, it stays on All Inboxes.

You are 100% right ! Thank you ;)

Same here, except I don't have an exchange account. Mail defaults to the last opened inbox, or ALL, as the case may be. At least, that is how mine functions.
