I have a Google account that I use for work. I share it across my computers, phone, ect. For some reason, not all e-mails are on both devises. I was looking for an e-mail, it was not on my computer, but it was on my phone. This is not the case with all mails, just this random one...but I imagine that there are more. Any thoughts, maybe in setting somewhere? I did try to search fo rthe e-mail on my computer but it was not there.

Not often, but have seen this on occasion. No idea why it gets confused.

Can try Mail > Mailbox > Rebuild. Mail > Mailbox > Take Accounts Offline and then take back on line.

Can delete the account and re-add.

If comfortable with command line, can try this to see if you can find the email. Will give you the pathname to the file that hopefully has the contents of the email in question.

Code:
cd ~/Library/Mail
find . -type f -exec grep -il somewordintheemailhere {} \;
