Mail reporting wrong number of emails

I check my mail manually, and last time I went in, I was told I had 1 unread email, when clearly there were 2. This is the first time this has happened......anyone else experienced this?

Was one of them on a non push account? It won't register until you manually fetch it.

I have two non-push IMAP accounts, both of which are set to fetch manually when I enter the mail app.

I clicked on mail to go into my main mailbox, and it said downloading 2 messages. 2 new messages appeared at the top of the list in, both of which were unread, and were marked as unread, yet it said at the top I had 1 unread message. I went back to the home screen, and there was a 1 on the mail icon, so I went back into mail, and it was still the same......2 unread messages but it was telling me I had only 1.

It's not really a big deal, I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced it
