So my iPhone Mail shows I have a notification that there’s some emails however when I open the inbox or any of the folders there are no emails showing.

To get rid of the little red icon that says I have an email because I can’t view that email in iPhone Mail I have to download Google Mail and view it from there, it shows the email I couldn’t see in Mail and I can view it and delete it from Google Mail.

Funny thing is, once I view it in Google Mail, the red icon disappears in iPhone Mail.

i’m about to just continue using Google Mail even though I prefer the layout and functionality of iPhone Mail.

It’s happened half a dozen times in the last few months.

I had something similar happen a few times on my iPhone. No Gmail email though. What worked for me at the time was to look for the unread folder in Apple’s mail, there I could find the email.

YMMV - best success!

TY you for responding.

Problem is emails don’t show up in my any folders. Get a notification icon though.

When I open Gmail there it is right there in the Inbox, but Mail won’t show it.

You and thousands of others. Welcome to iOS 13.

TY , I’m going to try Push rather than Fetch. See if it clears it up. Only thing I can think of.
