Or lack thereof. Finally decided that El Capitan is enough of a step up from Mavericks and is safe enough to upgrade. A flurry of little issues, but a largish one has resurfaced - the disappearance of the new mail sound. The sending-mail swoosh works, but I cannot get the new mail sound working. I've tried all the bullying tactics I recalled from when this happened to me once before after an upgrade, toggling stuff on and off like mad, with no success. What's the fix for it this time?
